This picture was set as the desktop on one of the computers in my hostel last week. It seems that the bathroom is not everyone's preferred location.

This isn't just a hostel situation.

I was in a small hotel in Edinburgh when the person in the next room started going at it. I only heard one voice but there was a mechanical aid of some sort involved. To this day I don't know if it was a man or a woman. They were in it for the long haul too.

OMG, seriously if you are going to wank in the shower (and that is a totally fair place to wank) then FORTHELOVEOFGOD clean up after yourself. Be discreet. Isn't that what this thread is about - how to wank discreetly?

Now, if only I can get my upstairs neighbour to do something about his squeaky mattress and extremely vocal interludes....

on a 16 hour plane ride to hong kong i was good for at least 2 per flight...they are damn long

...so this is becoming a "confessions" thread....

yeah, it was always showers and occasionally bathroom stalls for me... but i do remember going some awfully long periods of time on the road without getting one in... either too busy, too tired, or just plain forgot.

I vote for the bathroom. Sex, whether solo or not is always a challenge in a hostel. I've had some entertaining situations. Once a friend and I walked in on a couple in the common room. What is bad is that the same girl from that night was hitting on my friend the next evening. He didn't realize who it was until I told him.

Another time when I was in Prague a woman started cussing out the guy next to her. Turns out he was laying on top of his blankets on a bottom bunk with no pants and going to town. He obviously wanted to be seen.

Discretion is key!
