Travel Insurance - World Nomad?

I have been reading the threads for travelers insurance and it seems like Nomad's is a reliable insurance carrier. However, I am wondering if I have a different definition of what "cheap" insurance as my quote for two months was 180.00 while other insurance agencies were much cheaper. Does 180.00 seem accurate?

No, $180 for 2 months seems expensive. If you go to the search and compare feature on the BnA site, you can find several other companies that offer more for less.

Yes I am. I thought it seemed a little expensive. I found others that were a lot less but I heard good thing about World Nomad. I think IMG?

I am already in Thailand, it still find to purchase the insurance I'd assume?

We used World Nomad backpacking insurance for our round the world 12 month trip. This was 2007 and cost just over £100 for the two of us.
Does seem expensive are you sure you have the backpacking one. I claimed for dental treatment in the US and got the money while we were traveling they were very good.
We are with another company now because of our age and medical problems and are having to pay almost £600 for 3 months, this is the problem when you get older and have health issues.
