Traveling to Peru next week
My 12 year old son and I (I am his mom btw) are going to visit some family in Peru next week. We are arriving in Lima around midnight and then will spend the next day in Lima and catch an over-night bus north to Trujillo where they live. So.... any suggestions as to what we could do in Lima for one night and one day? Thanks for any responses!

We decided to stay at the Inka Frog in the Mira Flores section of Lima. It was highly recommended by friends who recently did a RTW trip. There is a lot to do for one day in Lima....should be fun!

Lima is a beautiful place. The urban area of Lima covers about 800 km2 (310 sq mi). It is located on mostly flat terrain in the Peruvian coastal plain, within the valleys of the Chillón, Rímac and Lurín rivers. There are a lot of places to go and many things to do. Don't worried. Come to Lima and discover its beauty. Have fun
