Hi all!

My partner and I are leaving in Sept 2012 to travel around Egypt, India, Myanmar and then mainly South East Asia. We will end our travels in Bali but we are finding it hard to determine how we will get to and from our destinations there.

Below is our itinerary with our rough idea on transport. If anyone has any more details on what the travel situation is like in Bali then please feel free to share. We want to check these transport options are feasible.

Fly into Denpasar and travel to Kuta by bemo.
Kuta to Seminyak district by taxi
Seminyak to Tabanan/Beraban by taxi
Tabanan/Beraban to Mengwi by taxi
Mengwi to Taman Nasional Bali Barat (staying in Pemuteran most likely unless anyone can suggest somewhere else to stay? We are wanting to do scuba diving and know that Pemuteran is good for diving trips). Anyone know how to get from Mengwi to Pemuteran? Longer journey so taxi would be expensive compared to public transport.
Pemuteran to Lovina by bemo (are there bemos available that make this journey? We know there's one that goes Lovina to Pemuteran so assuming there's one that runs in the opposite direction?)
Lovina to Kintamani by bemo or taxi (which is best option? Are there bemos that make this journey?)
Kintamani to Amed - we need help figuring this bit out!
Amed to Ubud by shuttle bus
Ubud to Denpasar by bemo

Thanks in advance for your help!

Not sure about transport options...I had a terrible tour and one nice free day with a driver (about 12 dollars for 12 hours). I'm sure it's more expensive now, but probably not by much.

It's not usually on lists for most people, but check out Tegalalang. There's an amazing temple there called Gunung Kawi.
