In the admin panel of every blog, you can now upload video.
This tool will allow you to upload video and in return, get embedded video and links that can be pasted into your BootsnAll Travel Blogs and forums!
There are 4 easy steps:
1. Click the browse button and find the video to be uploaded on your computer.
2. Check the "terms of use" box.
3. Click "upload this video" button.
4. In the same window, an embedded link will be provided. Copy and paste that link into your blog post window.
Let's see if we can get videos up this week.
Here is a video I posted.

Hey Donovan,
I have been trying to use this feature, but FLIQZ keeps giving me a server error message. Do I need my video to be in a certain format? Any possibility we can just use youtube on our blogs? (I tried and ended up with my blog becoming a mess and the video not appearing.)
Anyhow, let me know what would be the best. I am rather keen on starting to add lots of video content, but I need it to work somehow.

Hi, Rob:
I'm told that you should be able to add YouTube videos to your blog. With those, you should be able to just copy the "embed" code and plop it right into a post. Is that not working for you?
Ciao,
Jessica

I tried to copy the "embed" code from my youtube account; all it did was leave a huge empty space in that area and changed the font and the spacing for everything that came after it.

Hi Rob,
I've been able to add embedded video to my blog which is on the same platform as yours. You can see it here.
You will need to make sure there are no line breaks in the embedded code or any extra <div>'s. If you like, add the code to an entry (an old one if you don't want it to show on your home page) and email me the link to that entry and I'll try to find out what's causing the issues.

Once you've uploaded a video to youtube, you can use their embedded video code and simply paste that into your blog entry, rather than re-upload the video to your blog. Make sure there are no line breaks in the embed code ie: the code should wrap like regular text rather than have any hard returns in it.
