Looks like your plans are coming along. A few questions and comments. What are your plans for getting to Albuquerque/Santa Fe from Austin? Honestly, I would not recommend driving from Austin to Santa Fe (or taking a bus for that matter). There isn't a whole lot to see and it is probably two days worth of driving. Make sure to look into some of the regional airlines for your trip, they sometimes have much better deals than the major airlines.
