I'm curious how many solo females have traveled amongst the Uygur people in Urumqi and Kashgar in China. I've been to China before, but I didn't make it that far west and I'm planning on going there next time.

Any tips would be great. I'm having trouble finding helpful information as my lonely planet guide doesn't really say much.
