Vegas is pretty good for handicapped travellers. Many casinos have ramps, and all have elevators.

Moving down the strip is another matter. I think some buses are handicapped equipped, but doing so is clumsy. Rolling it is just impossible because of the massive heat and long distances. I suppose you could rent an equipped van for transport.

This would also help for the Grand Canyon, since the best way to see it is by a rented vehicle.

Obviously, going down the canyon on foot will be difficult, but maybe you could tie yourself to a mule. Warning. For an able bodied person, this can be torture on the hip and leg muscles. it's probably worse if you're handicapped.

Never fear. There are viewpoints with very good views wheelchair accessible on the south rim. the path is very well made. I don't know about the glass viewpoint. I'm told you have to go on a tourist bus to get there.
