Great Quiz! It seems that I am a veture traveler as well. It was right on the mark for some things and close on others but it does describe me pretty well!

More than any other group, what others see on the surface reflects your true personality. You don't play games. A handshake is your word, and your easygoing manner, commitment to doing everything well, and calm and steady personality leads others to rely on you. That's why Plog calls you an Authentic—you act the same with all people. There is nothing fake or calculated about your personality. You also have the distinction of belonging to the smallest group.

That part might be spot-on, but the travel bit is completely wrong - it says I prefer traveling with a group rather than alone, don't like untried destinations, prefer escorted tours, travel less often and spend less, would rather drive than fly, and I don't mind crowds.
All of which are not remotely descriptive of my travel style.

My results seem fairly accurate. But I am not much of a detail planner...that is my only big beef.

Stoo - your travel style description sounds a lot more like what I do than my result, though its description of my personality in general was pretty accurate.
I guess my travel style is contrary to my personality.

Stoo, I'm with you on the detailed planning. I tend to think of a list of things I might like to see and then adjust that list to meet the feel of the day.

It says I'm a Mid-Venturer Traveler too.
Much of the description fits me, but not all of it. Among other things it says that I like rainbows and dislike mean people, so it pretty much nailed me on those.

I'm apparently an "Authentic Traveler" as well. Aside from the opening paragraph you quoted, everything about my alleged travel style & personality couldnt be more wrong.
I hate routine & tv sitcoms and read the newspaper everyday.
The thought of a package tour through London or a trip on the QEII gives me the chills...eeeeekkkk!

hmmm.. I came up as a Mid-Venturer...
not too sure about that one. Maybe I misunderstood the questions...?
I do make lists/plans, but I NEVER stick to them (or even remember to take them with me)
I definately do not have a set execise routine and I sure as hell wouldn't stick to it when on the road!
I also don't pay mcuh attention to my diet other than being vaguely aware that I drink too much and my pathological hatred of take-away chains (but thats not entirely for health related reasons)
I'm a little insulted that it says i like comfy hotels and "meals you can trust" - i'm a dorm room - bucket shower - street vendor girl all the way!
The curiosity/common sense and outgoing-ness bit is pretty correct but as to how it works within my career.. I'll let you know when I get one!
I am however a book-worm; it got me on that one.

I dunno if fifteen fairly shallow questions is going to show the truth of things. It's sort of like the general horoscope in the newspaper. Vague and easily pliable to the true believer.
That said, I'm with Stoo...I love quizzes.
(But hate horoscopes)

Some of it sounds alright, their suggestions are okay, it's mostly not true though.

I got mid-venture traveler as well...wouldn't agree with most of it. Like Lucky Luke I'll make lists adn plans but rarely stick to them. I'm more of a go with the flow type of person.
