Where do you like to sit on an airplane?

We all have our favorite seats on a plane, especially if we travel often. What's yours?

Even though I get annoyed when others have to get up I still prefer the aisle seat. Once the plane lands I don't want to have to wait on some slow ass mofo who likes to wait until the plane is empty (true story).

I like exit row windows, but that's because I'm tall. Emergencies never cross my mind, or at least they won't until that day when the pilot introduces himself as "Captain Steve".

I prefer window on shorter flights and I'm a recent convert to the aisle seat on long-hauls.

Sorry, that was me. I just don't see the point in standing up when the aisles are packed. Everyone's just going to end up in the same spot at baggage claim anyway.
I don't much care on short flights - I do like to see out the window given the chance, but for long hauls, aisle is the way to go. It just feels roomier.

I usually prefer the wing. I like the fresh air.

I went on a short flight recently and I had the middle seat..pure torture for 4 hours. I have long legs so it was really cramped.
I prefer window, then i can atleast rest my head against the window to sleep.

I love the window. A view and a headrest

I always pick windows. Until a few weeks ago, I was flying with a family member and a friend and I foolishly put myself in the middle. Gawd, that was terrible. On the return flight, I was able to find another seat on the plane- a window with an empty next to it. Even though the radio headset thing in that seat didn't work, it was well worth it. Aaahhhhhhh

When easyJet used to fly from Geneva to Dortumund, they would load from the front door in Geneva and then back the plane upto the airport in Dortmund. All the first time fliers on that route who cramped in up front (in an attempt to get off first) got stuck waiting.
It was bliss be able to sit in the back and have an isle to myself and still get off the plane first.

I like being near the front because once I love to travel but hate flying and want to get off that contraption as fast as humanly possible(I do apologize to anyone I have knocked over in my hury to kiss the ground.)

I prefer a window seat right next to the wing. I can't sleep on planes and having a window is good for entertainment. Not to mention my claustrophobia. I also like to make sure I have a seat in front of me that I can put my bag under, because I don't want to be one of those rude people that takes forever getting bags out of the overhead.

LaRosser, you're funny.
I'm an aisle seat person. Aisle seat people rule.
But like 2 wanderers, I don't care to jump up at the first sign of the mob. I always wondered why it was okay for everyone to jump up before the seatbelt lighted dinged off.
On Asian flights that I've been on, they haven't allowed the jumping up before the plane stops. Or as leat before the ding from what I can remember.

Aisle due to claustrophobia rather than an overactive bladder. I don't like being hemmed in by others. And I do leap to my feet as soon as it's allowed because I want to get off the plane as soon as I can.
