Hi Everyone,

I am determined to get further than just being a Thorn tree refugee. With that in mind I'm just putting out a message to all travelliers passing through Brisbane who don't know what to do here. I know! Drinking beer!! So give me a heads up that you are on your way. When I can't be on the trail myself, I love to experience it vicariously.

BTW, I love Brisbane and want to live there (and not just because there are dolphins and dugongs nearby)

Hey Mim, I just bought my ticket to Brisbane and I'll be there for a couple weeks in March. It's my old home so not so much a traveller passing through, but I'm always up for a beer if you'll be around. We could try and get a group of BrisVegas Booties together.

Don't count on making a pilgrimage to "The Vic" though - it burnt down last week .

The RE or the Regatta are very convenient for me.

Toowong is the suburb where my parents live so both of those are stumbling distance for me too. I'll let you know when I'm in town and maybe this time we can connect.

It's sad about the Vic, huh? Not that it was the best pub in town, but I still managed to find myself there quite a few times...

I should be in Brisbane in September, and I'll be in Indro so the RE and Regatta would be really convenient for me too.

Alright Kristin & Hydro...

time to make the plans!! I'll start with a PM and if there is anyone else in Brisbane, you better pipe up now to find out what's happening!

Just in case there are others out there wanting to join in - thought I'd let you all know that we had to postpone the meet to later this week. It will be either Wed (17th) or Thurs (18th) at the RE in Toowong. We will pin it down some time over the next day or two - promise!!

It has been settled...

Thursday 18th, Lunch, starting 11:30am, meet-up at the RE (Royal Exchange). It is straight across Main Street from the Toowong train station.
