Hello family!, I will be soon starting a road trip from Spain to India and Nepal following the old hippie trail through southern Europe, Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. I will drive "Poncho", a happy blue and white 1972 VW Kombi. I´m looking for anyone who would like to come along, as well as for any info that you might have on this trip.
Cheers, Gabriel.

I cannot come along, but I am envious. I own a 1971 Westfalia and wish you the best of luck!

Salutations Gabriel
I will be flying into Europe on the 8th of October. I plan on vagabonding for as long as possible and would love to join you for some of your journey. Let me know the dates you plan on leaving and hopefully we can work out meeting up because I cannot think of anything better then traveling in a VW through the unknown.

Cheers,
-Q

Hi Q!!, I think I will start sometime early next spring. Poncho doesn´t have any sort of heating and I guess it must get pretty cold crossing the highlands of Turkey and Iran. During the winter I plan to drive/ferry to the Canary Islands, learn to surf and be a beach bum. Let me know if you are up for some surfing!.

Man I would love to go kick it around the Canary's for a while. Isnt it expensive there though? I dont really know much about it other then its the place to go during the winter. When are you planing on leaving for the islands?

The Canaries are expensive, they are europe´s winter getaway. I will live on the beach, eat veggies, look at my inner world and at the outer too, read, write, play guitar... and surf. Not much money involved.
Want to go there sometime end of October/beggining of Nov.
