Hi All

I am planning a RTW Trip...and hoping to include some of the big ones (Like Everest Base Camp and Maccu Piccu)...trouble is that I have no idea how much some of these things will cost me...can you help?

1) Whitewater Rafting in New Zealand
2) Bungee Jump in New Zealand
3) Sahara Trip in Morrocco (I want to stay for a few days out there).
4) Maccu Piccu Trip (total costs including porters/accomm etc)
5) CowBoy Experience USA (you know, where you go stay at a real Ranch and get to ride out with the Cowboys...I know, it's weird but that's me!! LoL)
6) Trekking in Tibet
7) Everest Base Camp (I've heard different stories that it can cost up to £10,000 but then I've also heard that it can cost as little as £1,500).

Can I have the cost in Sterling or US Dollars please?

Wow 1500 pounds to WALK to the base camp! WTF. Can't you do it for free?

- not wierd at all, amigo. If you haven't seen the movie "City Slickers," you really should. Prices for this will vary a TON depending on where you go and for how long. But I would probably set aside $100 USD per person per night for at least two nights. These things tend to be all-inclusive, so you don't need to pay for food or entertainment once you're there. (By the way, which states are you considering for your "cowboy experience?")

Just in case you were wondering, my Everest Base camp trek cost me $180. That was for 20 days, food, tea houses, gear rentals and a bus from Kathmandu to Jiri Bazaar and back to Kathmandu, no guide, no porter.

Most people take a flight to Lukla ($200 round trip) from KTM, if you do that, it will shorten the trek by a week to ten days, so you'll save money on rentals, food and sleeping, but the flight will set you back a bit more. NO permits are needed as long as you don't pass base camp...

Oh, one more thing -
You can do some great white water rafting in Nepal too. It's only about $60 for two days...
