Street food/Local restaurants in Bali for Muslim travellers

Being a practising Muslim, finding food in a non Muslim majority place can be quite a challenge. Nonetheless, it would be nice to break away from just having vegetarian meals.

Would it be easy to find a warung which caters to Muslim travellers, around in Bali? particularly those serving Padang type food or even from Lombok or Muslim balinese?

Thanks.

Padang food places are all over the populated parts of south Bali. They're also open all hours. Many charge a nominal fee for rice and veg, with the meat / combo dishes charging more.

In regular Indonesian / Javanese warungs pork is not usually served, although the food may not always be halal.

Its the specifically Balinese places that serve pork.

Riding my bke around Bali, I see many masjids (mosques), even in coastal areas out east and up in Kintamini. Be sure there is somewhere these people can go for food, besides their house. I'd say no worries, most of the Javanese people who live in Bali are Muslim themselves.
