In the market...
for a new camera. Funny thing, cameras don't seem to like to work after bathing in Red Bull
And now I need to find something new, and quickly, because I leave for Morocco on Friday and don't want to be without a camera for that. I'm looking for something in the ultra-compact category, with enough manual controls to at least be able to change ISO, exposure compensation, and f stop, but ideally something that naturally takes very good pictures without needing to make a lot of adjustments would be great. I tend to take more scenic and architectural shots, so a wide angle and fairly crisp details are good, but I'm by no means even trying to be a professional photographer, so it needn't be top end. And, of course, I'd like to keep it reasonably priced, like around the $300 range. The Kodak V705 came up in a feature search... anybody ever use one? Or something similar?
