I was just curious what people would recommend for footwear in asia in the summer time (meaning it will be like 80-90 over there when i go?

I was thinking about proper boots cause i will be doing a lot of walking, but it will be so hot and humid i feel that i will be miserable.

thanks

Get some lightweight breathable sneakers with good support. Hiking boots are way too hot for the tropical climate.

A good pair of Tevas or Chaco's are just as good as hiking boots in my opinion. I've done up to 10 miles a day on my Tevas and I've felt just as good in them as I have my 80+ dollar boots.

Especially in tropical climates, just make sure you have bug repent on and avoid excessive exposure to stagnant water and you should be fine.

Nomad has the right idea Teva makes a great walking sandal that is really more like a walking shoe with lots of holes in it. They work great and look alright as well.

I am in Vietnam and am currently using a pair of these:

They are very comfy. Sadly, Keens don't fit my feet.

I love the Keens. If you can put them in a washing machine every now and then it keeps the "sandle stink" down.
