I'm heading to Singapore and Hong Kong in another month or so. I'd like to know what's a good place (website or store), to purchase or rent a phone that I can use while I'm there. It would also be great if this place also carries global SIM chips or location specific SIM chips.

Depending on what you have for mobile service in the US, your phone may work abroad as well. I recently found that int'l coverage and rates have improved dramatically in the last two years.
