I thought this was a pretty cool pack. I thought it would make a good daypack to bring traveling. It can be both a messenger bag/briefcase or a backpack.

This reminds me of my convertible travelpack obsession, which led me to BnA.
Good list of convertible travelpacks here. He did all the research I did, but summed it up much more attractively.

I did a lot of searching for these as well. Onebag.com was quite helpful in my search. I ended up going with an MEI Voyageur for my business travels (super nice pack btw)and I have a Macpac Zambesi for snowboard trips and my upcoming rtw trip. The macpac is seamingly indestructible.

The MEI Voyageur sounds like the greatest thing since Nutella, but I was stymied by the inability to see it online/find it at a local store. They have such a following -- one of their devotees just needs to give them a website!

I went with the MEC Shuttle, which was inexpensive and had a decent back measurement (I'm 4'11"). No waist belt, though.
Anyway, not to hijack your thread... Smile

Here are some pics of the mei voyageur. I will post some pics of it with shoulder harness and hip belt shown a little later.
