Hi all,

I'm currently planning my first big trip (to OZ and NZ), and while the internet provides good and helpful reading for days, I still have a few questions probably some of you can answer, especially concerning visas.

I already applied and received my WHV for Oz. Everywhere in the doc they state that you can work for up to 6 months for one employer. Clear enough, but does it implies the maximum of time you can work on your WHV is 6 months or can you work for the whole year is you switch jobs a couple times ?

Also, I can guess the answer to this one, but can't find the info officially. Is it possible to "stack" WHV for different countries (ie. since I will be spending my time between OZ and NZ, I might get a WHV for each) ? I would like to think it isn't a problem since those are two completely entities with their own set of rules, but if anyone can confirm, I would appreciate.

Thanks a lot to everyone posting of these boards, reading through those pages of threads have been helpful a lot already and it has answered some questions as well as raised some new ones I wouldn't have thought of !

A WHV in Oz is good for a year, but you can only work for the same job up to 6 months. So, you can work the year, but you have to switch jobs.

WHV's for different countries are independent of each other, so you should be able to apply for your WHV wherever, whenever.

Happy travels!
