What are tags?
If a person has visited Iran on business visa or tourist visa, will he/she be denied US visa?

oh dear me! i sure hope not. on a business visit maybe, but a tourist? americans visit iran all teh time...but then again i have no real knowledge on the subject

It's unlikely that person will be denied because of the Iran visit, but people are denied US visas for other reasons all the time. I can't give a more detailed answer without knowing more.

A trip to Iran will likely not prevent you from entering the US. But that is just my opinion. Like with any visa issues you should contact the embassy of the country you are planning to visit. Enjoy your trip to US, lots of things to see and do ...

US Embassies provide info on US entry visa application procedure for Iranian citizen, that said I would tend to exclude a visit to Iran could be a problem for obtaining US visa.
Visa requirements depend mainly on applicant nationality, and procedure may change depending on country of application, I would check the website of the US Embassy nearest to me.

Hi Burf, that's pretty interesting question to discuss but I am not an expert when it comes to immigration laws especially in the US.
