Visa's in Australia and New Zealand

Postby Jeannine » December 22nd, 2008

Hello again! Xmas2

So I will be in New Zealand in Oct. 2009. Because it will be too soon for me to work and because I need to see the country to know where I'd like to work I am doing a Magic Bus Tour of the North and South Islands(right now buy north and get south for a buck!) Anyway back to visa's...

Is there a visa that includes working in both New Zealand and Australia? Or any visa that includes both countries?

If I get a work visa do I have to work or can I get it b/c I need a visa and maybe/probably will be working? Does anyone check? Do you need a job lined up first?

O.K. that is it for now. Thanks everyone!

No there isn't. Australia and NZ are two separate independent countries.

If you get a WHV, you don't have to work. and no. you don't need to have a job already lined up.

Departemnt of Immigration (Oz)

Immigration New Zealand

Hope this helps.
