I am basically staying in Pretoria for most of our trip and going to U of Pretoria. Is it appropriate for me to wear shorts?

Will people be wearing them out on the street when it's warm enough? Yup. Should you wear them to a formal dinner party? Of course not.

There is a lot of money in South Africa and people dress well. Pack nice clothing!
