On this passport: London, UK. And it was a giant BUNAC (student work visa) stamp that takes up the entire page. Razz

(My first passport, which I lost, was Amsterdam)

My 'own' first stamp was aged 8 when I had to have 'my own' orange-ish cardboard temporary passport as it was the first time I wasn't travelling on my mother's passport (they don't do either of these options now).

My first stamp was Toronto where I did a 'family exchange' and then I flew home and connected immediately to Portugal to meet my parents on our 'family annual holiday' - so two in 21 days at aged 8!

Hi

Tricky question. When I was young we traveled a lot to Denmark and Germany and I guess I got a stamp from there. But my first real one is I guess the one I got when I came to the USA when I was 17. After that I have gone through another passport and that one I have now is pretty empty Censored

Here is one page of my old passport :-)

Regards

First stamp was Hong Kong. Seventeen-hour layover on my way to Delhi. This was about a year ago. =)

Hi folks,

My first passport stamp in my own passport was last July when I went to Bulgaria (before they joined the EU). I also got one for leaving.

My passport contains a semi-stamp from Budapest airport a few weeks later. On deaprture the immigration officer stamped my boarding card and then closed it over inside my passport...so as a result I have a backwards, smudged Budapest Ferihegy stamp too!

Until I was 12 I was on my Dad's passport, so I suppose I am included in stamps from the following countries (in more or less the order I visited them).

USA (twice)
DDR (former East Germany)
Czechoslovakia (before it split up)
Croatia
Turkey
