Where have you lived abroad?
Maestra LE
I'm American and have been living in Scotland for the last 2 months. I'll be here at least through the end of next year, longer if I can get a proper grown-up job with someone who will sponsor me after I finish my Masters. I'm starting to investigate other places to go if I end up not being able to stay in the UK, as I can't stomach the idea of living in the US again.

Swiss having lived in New York and Australia. Looks like I'm heading to Thailand for a while now.

Andromeda
American who has lived in Auckland, New Zealand for a semester almost 5 years ago now (geez, long time) and Amsterdam-based as of two months ago and will be here 4 years for my PhD.
I also finally got my Hungarian passport about two months ago (family is from there, and I speak it etc, but was born in the USA) so it's nice to not have any rush to return to the USA.

Originally from America. I consider living in a place if I had a mailing address there.
So, no matter the length of time...
I have lived and worked in Saudi Arabia (one week), Bahrain (three weeks), Germany (three weeks), Egypt (six months). I lived but didn't work in the Philippines (four years).
I stayed in India for one month but didn't have one set address the whole time.
Outside of the Continental United States, I also lived in Alaska (one year) and Hawaii (five years).
But if I could do it again, I would live in a different country about every two years.

By that definition, I can add Portugal, England, and Oman.
