Im deciding on a camera for my travels around the world. As this is going to be a once in a lifetime trip i want to have some good photos. My gf has a digital camera but i'd like to get something better. Im on a budget so up to and around £150 would be a rough cost price for me.
Also just wondered what you guys think about taking a portable videocamera travelling. Ive seen the Toshiba S30 at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-Camileo ... 05&sr=1-15 and it looks like a no frills little thing. Any recommendations or is it better to just get a good digi camera and use the video function on that?
Thanks guys

Which Camera on a budget. Video Camera Tips!?

I'd recommend any of the recent Canon digital cameras.
For that budget, you could get a new or slightly used Canon SX230, 220 or 210. They all have 14x zoom and shoot great video.
