Why won't my pages publish?

Hi all!

I'm having some issues getting my pages to publish. I can see, edit and review them (though some of my photos won't load after awhile for no reason whatsoever)I hit the publish button and the page will save but no matter what I try I can't get the pages to load.

I want to section out specific pages for certain trips but it won't let me. I can still post and upload posts on my dashboard but not on the pages. Am I doing something wrong or does anyone have any suggestions?

I'll take a look to try and find the problem. I attempted to publish those pages as an admin and they didn't take so there's certainly a bug there.

We've been able to fix the issue with those pages and they're now published, but I still don't know exactly what was causing it. Investigation continues, but please let me know if you see it happening again.

Sad to say I'm back and suffering from the same problem of late. I have no problem publishing posts but for the life of me I can't get the pages to publish. I'm just clicking on write a page and going from there. So I can add pics, info etc and view or edit at anytime, just not publish.

Any advice or should I just stick to posting on the main page?

I'll try to have a more definite answer to you this week, mate. It's still a bit of a mystery.

I think we've finally been able to kick this bug. I tried creating a test page on your blog and it worked. I've since deleted it, but you should be able to publish your pages again now.

My blog is loading ridiculously, preciously slow.

I'm in the south of Thailand right now, and while internet can be patchy at times upload speed to Flickr is normal.

Is there any way of having a 'lite' version to make blogging on the road less painful? I only want to post text and link to pictures from Flickr.

There doesn't seem to be any issue with the blog loading here. All speed tests suggest there are no issues causing it to load slow and I have not heard reports from others that it's slow. Not suggesting it's not loading badly for you, but the blogs are already pretty lite.

One thing I noticed was the URL in your signature file was tblogs.bootsnall.com rather than just blogs.bootsnall.com. Are you trying to access it with the first URL instead of the 2nd? I updated your signature file with the correct URL so let me know if that's any better for you.

I think I'm using the right URL, since I usually just Google it (when I don't have my netbook).

Here in Bangkok loading times are not an issue, but matters were very different in Trang. It will be worse on the smaller islands. I find that editing ('save and edit' with preview) takes unusually long.

If possible I will get entries written before uploading them. Still, editing could be made sleeker.

For what it's worth, the forums also load slow...
