Could anybody recommend any good youth hostels they stayed at in Provence, France. We'd like to visit either Arles, Nimes, Avignon, Aix, etc., but not Marseille. Thank you, I am having a hard time on my own.

Try a hostel reservation site. The one here is supposed to be good. I use Hostelworld a lot because the reviews seem accurate if you know how to read them.
